Executive Committee Member, Janet Nielsen (3rd from left), from Davidson County, in her spare time plays & is co-captain of a senior women’s volleyball team named the Hot Sets. Her team competed in the State of TN Senior Olympics this July and took the silver medal. In August the team traveled to Stanford University, in Palo Alto CA, and participated in the National Senior Olympics. The Hot Sets took 11th place in the nation! Congratulations to Janet and her team; LONG LIVE THE CHALLENGE!!!!
The objectives of the TJCSA activities are to promote professionalism within our field, to encourage continuous training for juvenile court workers, to create avenues for regular exchange of ideas and techniques used by our profession, and to develop meaningful and effective relationships with judges, other juvenile court personnel, and service providers.
